Description: Lounging woman smiles at neighbor, while her husband dozes. Caption: not known Publication information: Cover art for one of the myriad of magazines published by Magazine Management, ca. early 1960s. Medium: Gouache on board Size: 13 x 10.5” Signature: signed lower left. Condition:Very good with just a bit of adhesive residue along right edge. Not framed. Comment: A wonderfully evocative men's magazine cover piece. It's also comparatively “quiet” for an example of the genre of the period. To me that quality will make it stand the tests of time much better than similar Cold War fare that have seen such strong prices at auction in the past few years. Price: $3,600
