Pyle, Howard

Price: $48,500.00
Description: Couple in the garden

Comment:  I’ve sold a small number of Pyle originals over the years, but this one is the most impressive to date. As the “Father of American Illustration,” it’s tempting to say that there’s no single American illustrator who’s more ‘important.’ After all, where would we be without dear ol’ Dad? Seriously though… seems to me that all high-profile collections of American illustration need to include a great Pyle and this, I think would fit the bill very nicely.
