Stahr, Paul

Main Detail-1 Detail-2 Magazine
Price: $4,250.00
Description: Gunfight near Manchurian train station

Comment: Paul Stahr was truly a workhorse for the pulps (and particularly for ARGOSY Weekly). By my7 casual count he did 39 covers for the magazine that year, incredible. Sure, it the group of nearly forty there are a few that I imagine Stahr would have redone given enough time. This though is not one of those.  Illustrated the story “A Manchu Robin Hood” by W. Wirt and appears to have been passed down through Wirt’s family. A copy of the magazine is included with the purchase.

Price: $4,250  (includes domestic shipping)
