Description:  Woman with gun confronting workers

Exhibition: “Madonnas of the Prairie” exhibition at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, Canyon, Texas. 2014.

Comment:  I find this to be a very powerful picture on a number of levels. Artistically, of course, with the strong and somewhat disorienting intersecting lines in the lower half of the composition. Also though, from a time when labor unrest was widespread. I have a printout of the story for your reading pleasure.
