Comment: In terms of narration, does it seem that Soulen dotted every i and crossed every t here? Well, no... The thing that allowed Soulen to stand out consistently... including through thousands of published pieces had most to do with his color sense and bold painterly style. This allowed his pieces to stand the test of time and be as interesting now as the day they were painted.
