Comment: When you consider that this is about eighty-six years old, it's really remarkable how fresh and modern this is. If you're not particularly a reader of old magazines, WHC is consistently a great piece of eye candy. Just goes to show that great fashion, great design and great composition go well together. Chances are pretty good that the artist's not particularly on your radar, as he's pretty obscure… Here's a great chance to get started. Don't confuse this artist with “the other” Will Hollingsworth, the Mississippi artist who died at age 34. I lowered the price for the website because initially I'd planned to mat and frame this nicely and to unveil it at ComicCon in San Diego this summer. Obviously, that's not happening, so I trimmed $200 to allow for a matting and framing budget. Magazine accompanies purchase of the artwork.
