Comment: For my two cents… when he was at his best, very few could push the paint around with quite the verve as Charles E. Chambers. It’s the saturated confidence of his approach that can make even a fairly mundane scene spring immediately to life. Of course in turn the approach makes it tricky to photograph without a whole lot of glare. I did my best.
